Having been born in a working family, there was never a time where my parents were able to sit down and teach us to play any kind of instrument. As a result, my siblings and myself all grew up without any music inclination. When we began attending school, we all realized how important it is to learn how to play music, may it be on the piano, guitar or violin. However, other priorities, including studies and work, usually consumed my entire day.
When I started working, my urge to learn how to play an instrument reemerged and I was more determined than ever to play classical music on a guitar. So I started looking for classical guitar lessons on line and I was very surprised with the number of lessons being offered. However, after reading more about them, I found that they are not as useful as I hoped they would be. Most of them are obviously giving “tips” for the mere reason of increasing the viewership of their websites. There were a few, though, that I thought could be a good starting point. After thoroughly going through the free classical guitar lessons on line, I realized that these lessons do not go beyond the beginner’s level so I started looking again. I am working full-time so my choices were boiled down to those which offer much flexibility. After talking to some guitar instructors and students, I was referred to this site and I was amazed with how much information I was missing by starting off with other online lessons. I downloaded the program and started with the lessons right away. After comparing it with all other lessons I found online, I definitely think that it was the best among all those I’ve tried so far. It is detailed and precise but very easy to read. I am now playing the guitar in the advanced level and I am still using the program. It is a good program and probably the best among the classical guitar lessons on line I’ve found.
